About the Author
William Codd is a father of two and a passionate storyteller who believes in the power of bedtime stories and puzzles to connect families and spark curiosity. Originally from Ireland and now based in Western Australia, William works across the mining, resources, and renewable energy sectors, and has spent time working fly-in fly-out (FIFO) across regional Australia, Africa, and the Middle East.His first book was inspired by the heartfelt questions his children asked after the death of his own dad — a moment that led to creating a gentle story about love, loss, and remembrance. Since then, William has expanded into themed word search puzzle books for children, celebrating Australian wildlife, Rottnest Island adventures, and life in FIFO communities.William publishes under the Wattle & Wolfhound name — a creative imprint inspired by his Irish roots and life in the Australian bush. Through this banner, he launched the Word Search Adventures series: a growing collection of puzzle books designed to celebrate real places, professions, and culture in a fun and accessible way.Drawing on his first-hand experience in parenting and the themes of his books, William brings a grounded, creative lens to the stories and activities he writes — always guided by the curiosity of his own kids.
